HAMILTON — The Butler County Sports Hall of Fame will add 11 members to its ranks this fall with the induction of its Class of 2026.
The Hall of Fame announced a group representing schools and athletic programs from across Butler County, including former standout athletes and longtime coaches.
The 2026 class includes Alex Davis of Garfield (1967), Meagan Dooley Dimond of Lakota West (2006), Lakota West coach Andy Fishman, Dennis Garland of Edgewood (1975), Chris Lutz of Fairfield (1985), Jalin Marshall of Middletown (2013), Seth Morris of Hamilton (1999), Tom Popplewell of Fairfield (1986), Emily Breitholle Quigley of Fairfield (2001), Keith Weiser of Talawanda (2003) and Ross coach Gary Weitzel.
“We are excited to announce yet another amazing class to the hall,” Butler County Sports Hall of Fame Committee president Sean Van Winkle said. “This year’s class represents a very wide range of not only the areas in Butler County, but many amazing sports accomplishments!”
Established in 1982, the Butler County Sports Hall of Fame is the oldest and longest-running county hall of fame in Ohio.
The Class of 2026 induction ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Champion Mill Conference Center at Spooky Nook Sports in Hamilton.
